IDEIS Youth: an inspiring meeting point for young people
We are an organization where everyone, regardless of their color or race, can be included in society with their own identity; where young people from all backgrounds can feel safe and express themselves freely; and where they can create a positive impact with their talents, skills, and experiences, enhancing the sense of respect, love, and unity in the community.
Our goal is to enable young people to discover and express themselves through art. One of our main objectives is to help young people contribute more significantly to life in the fields of socialization and art, broaden their perspectives, and expand their communication networks by meeting new people.
We aim to provide an environment where young people can express themselves freely, share cultural richness, and where tolerance is prioritized. We strive to support this through both national and international events.

President of IDEIS Youth
Burak Nuri Demirci
Burak Nuri Demirci is the president of IDEIS Youth. He graduated from the Psychology Department at Dokuz Eylül University in 2023. Demirci has conducted research and written extensively in Social Psychology, and he continues his readings on Migration Psychology. His goal is to establish an accessible network of psychological support for all and to assist young migrants. In line with this mission, he writes and implements events in this field. Additionally, Demirci is a professional photographer and cinematographer. In his free time, he enjoys watching films and staying active through sports.

Nurefşan Zeynep Kurt

Nurefşan Zeynep Kurt is a dedicated volunteer with IDEIS Youth, studying Social Services in The Hague. She has participated in a variety of fields and completed internships to gain a deeper understanding of society and further her professional expertise. Having lived in five different countries, Kurt has attended seminars and conferences internationally. She actively works to support IDEIS Youth’s vision and mission to bring young people together, build bridges of dialogue, and promote respectful connections and communication methods needed by youth in society.

Hamide Refia Öz

Hamide Refia Öz pursued her studies in the Sociology Department at Middle East Technical University in Turkey and is an active volunteer with IDEIS Youth. She describes herself as energetic, outgoing, and socially engaged. Öz has a passion for discovering new things, traveling, and self-improvement through diverse experiences. Writing on social issues and creating scripts are her primary sources of motivation. Her interest in aesthetic details is also reflected in hobbies such as makeup and bullet journaling. Öz aims to conduct academic work in International Studies in the near future, shaping her career accordingly and expanding her areas of interest.

Merve Beyza Koçak

Merve Beyza Koçak is a student at Leiden University specializing in Middle Eastern Studies, with a focus on Turkey. She has participated in projects aimed at preserving cultural diversity and has volunteered at various institutions to teach Ottoman Turkish and modern Turkish. In addition, Koçak has held active roles in student organizations. She continues to share her academic and cultural knowledge to benefit different segments of society.
