Evaluation Process
All manuscripts submitted to IDEIS JOURNAL go through the following three-stage evaluation process:
1. First Review (Evaluation)
After the article is submitted, the first check is carried out by the Editorial Board.
At this stage, the following criteria are analysed:
Compliance with journal publication scope
Compliance with spelling rules and formal requirements
Plagiarism rate (85% originality requirement)
Ethical compliance (ethics committee certificate if required)
Editorial conclusion:
Eligible manuscripts are forwarded for peer review.
Unsuitable articles are returned to the author with a reasoned explanation.
2. 2nd Referee Evaluation (Double Blind Refereeing)
Manuscripts that pass the first review are sent to at least two referees who are experts in their field by double-blind peer review method.
Author and referee identities are kept confidential.
The referees evaluate under the following headings:
Scientific originality and contribution
Relevance of the subject to the field
Methodological robustness
Adequacy and accuracy of sources
Quality of language and expression
Arbitral Awards:
Suitable for publication
Suitable with minor corrections
Should be re-evaluated after major corrections
Not suitable for publication
3. Feedback and Correction Process
As a result of the referee evaluations, a reasoned feedback is sent to the author.
The author is asked to make corrections and submit the revised manuscript within a certain period of time (usually 2-4 weeks).
The author re-uploads the file with a "Response to Reviewers" explaining the changes made.
After revision:
Minor corrections can be checked directly by the Editorial Board and a decision on publication can be made.
Major corrections may be resubmitted for peer review.
Conclusion:
Accepted articles are prepared for publication in the next issue.
Rejected articles are notified of the decision with a reasoned explanation.
