Join us for an evening conversation with Kirsten Smeets on the relationship between the far right and religion in Europe. Smeets is a Theologian, Scholar of Religion, and Minister, educated at Radboud University (Nijmegen) with a specialization in Christian theological ethics and Islam.
Her presentation, “Framing ‘the Other’: Fortuyn’s Legacy, Identity Politics, and Representations of Islam on TikTok”, will explore religious and cultural narratives, and contemporary political discourse in Europe.
